Dr. Leonie J. Brooks and her research team at Towson University are conducting a study to document the experiences of Caribbean and other individuals who have experienced a natural disaster (i.e. hurricane, earthquake, tornado, flood, typhoon, wildfire, blizzard, tsunami, volcano, etc.).

Participation in this study involves completing questionnaires and answering questions in a brief, recorded interview about your experiences before, during and after the natural disaster. We want to understand the strategies and resources survivors of natural disasters use to cope, and whether there are any specific ways to promote resilience for survivors.

This information can be very useful in helping professionals better understand and effectively work with natural disaster survivors from diverse communities.

If you are interested in participating in this project, please provide your name, phone number and email address to Labrooks@towson.edu or drleebrooks@gmail.com.

You will be contacted with additional information. Your participation is completely voluntary and you may discontinue your participation at any time.

Participants are eligible to receive a $15.00 gift card.
