Voices of Thanksgiving to pay tribute to Patrick Barrington

Six (6) years ago – in an ‘aha’ moment Voices of Thanksgiving came as a seed inspiration to Gloria Surage, (CEO, Gloria Surage Productions).

Veteran -Producer/-Actor Gloria continues her mission to channel the essence in ‘inclusive communitarianism’ i.e. harnessing that spirit of community that lives in us all and which brings us together as a unit of peoples regardless of natural, individual differences.

This year’s installation is a special occasion in loving memory of the late Patrick Barrington Edwards, who was the creator of the ‘togetherness’ theme: “One Sparkles, All Shine” and also one of the lead actor / director of People’s Performing Art Centre and also Co-Creator of “Huggly Heggie and Ruff Neck Granny skits comedy Duo.

VOICES OF THANGSGIVING is another step in a tradition grown from the spirited generosity harvested from a team of homegrown performers who support community progress through togetherness and its natural synergy.

Gloria Surage commented that, the select group of artistes will rouse the spirit with bountiful helpings of human electricity, the sway of love, the heat of hope and the liberating joy and peace of brotherhood.

The artistes include Joel Rainford (Tall Man JR), Cora Russell, Nia Nicole, Jannett Scott among others. A skit by Gloria Surage and Brenda Grant will light up the stage in the guise of the uproarious sketch characters “Ruff Neck Granny and Loud Mouth Hegnes.
