Vincentian Among Most Influential Women in Miami

Dr. Jacqueline James-Lyttle is the first black female graduate from the US Coast Guard Academy, and has lectured at the University of Miami.

Vincentian born Chief Executive Officer of Tarakon Records and Founder of Imara Engineering, Dr. Jacqueline James-Lyttle, has been honoured by Legacy Miami Magazine as one of Miami-Dade County’s 25 most influential women in Business and Leadership in 2014.

Dr. James-Lyttle received the honour last Friday September 19th at a luncheon in Miami. The women honoured represented the cream of the crop in Miami, Florida, who are remarkable examples of accomplished black female professionals that have contributed their talents to the community. They represented a broad spectrum of fields including banking, the arts, law, community & cultural development, public service, accounting.
