Canada’s Michelle Mondesir’s Sophomore Album is Awesome!

Step into “The Light”. The sophomore album from Michelle Mondesir is a smooth musical mix of neo-soul, R&B and hip hop. The 12 new tracks on the album have a “Jill Scott meets Queen Latifah” sound that old (and new) fans of Michelle Mondesir will love. “I want the music I make to grow with me,” Mondesir says. “As I learn and experience and experience through others, I'd like what I write, sing, produce to do the same for others, become an experience.”  For her second album, the Canadian  indie Urban  artist wanted to focus on the varying experiences of life’s ups and downs. “Sometimes you want to party, other times you want to cry,” Mondesir says about the inspiration for her latest album.

“And sometimes you're just going through your day to day life hustle and bustling around with no time for anything but the thought that you're way too busy to even enjoy the simple things in life and this album covers all of that.” Mondesir is proud of her second album, which she did all of the songwriting, vocals, recording, production and album artwork for. Indie Pool mastered the album. The “Big Bang Theory” is the first single from the album. “The Light" is available for purchase at, iTunes and HMV.
