GraceKennedy Foundation actively promotes wellbeing, primarily by supporting educational and environmental programmes and processes.
The foundation is a corporate endowed one- being under the GraceKennedy Limited, which is a well-known household brand both in Jamaica, the Caribbean and abroad. Today, the GraceKennedy Group comprises a varied network of some 60 subsidiaries and associated companies located across the Caribbean and in North and Central America, the United Kingdom and Africa. Our operations span the areas of food processing and distribution, banking and finance, insurance and remittance services, together with an investment in building materials retailing.
The GraceKennedy Jamaican Birthright Programme is a fully paid cultural and professional internship geared towards second and third generation Jamaican university students who are living in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. It promises to highlight many aspects of Jamaican life while furthering the career goals of the selected candidates. The programme was reinstated in 2015 and the cohorts stayed in Jamaica for 5 weeks exploring our rich cultural heritage. Highlights of their experience can be found on our Facebook page: GraceKennedy Cares.
Over the next few months, GraceKennedy will be promoting the programme to the Jamaican Diaspora community as applications are officially open online September 1 until November 30.
Your assistance in spreading the word to 2nd and 3rd generation Jamaicans will be greatly appreciated.
