Denise Jones Honoured by the International Women Achievers’ Awards

Denise Jones has been honoured by the International Women Achievers’ Award (IWAA). She will receive her award in Toronto, Canada on March 16, 2013. The award is presented by the International Women Achievers’ Awards, a Canadian based organization. To learn more please visit IWAA.

Denise is president and co-founder of Jones & Jones Productions Ltd., a multi-service corporation specializing in event management, marketing, and promotions in Canada and other countries. With over 25 years experience in the industry, her company offers a range of customized services under one roof  or  through a network of suppliers; benefiting clients in a timely and cost efficient manner.

Some of the events that Denise has successfully marketed include galas, fundraisers, festivals, meetings, conferences, corporate celebrations, launches, and private parties. Most of these events are well supported by audience and corporate partners. Her events have featured guests and participants of local and international appeal. 

Denise has earned a high recognition (Gold record) for music marketing in Canada and she has been honoured by the Government of Ontario, professional organizations and various media outlets. The Toronto Star has included her in their category of “People to watch”, leader and trailblazer. Denise is an engaging speaker and an entertaining event host.

Committed to giving back to the communities in which she lives and works, Denise sits on the Governing Council of the Brampton Board of Trade and the board of Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation (which raised $140,000 in 2012 for schools in Jamaica).  She has also served as VP of Education and Marketing for CanSPEP — the Canadian Society of Special Event Planners— and has served on the Board of Jamaica Diaspora Canada Foundation.

Denise is the founding Chair of the Reggae Committee of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), the producers of the JUNO Awards and has been a member of the Jamaican Canadian Association for many years.

She is currently the co-host and producer of TALK TO ME on CHIN 100.7FM. Passionate about taking events and branding objectives to the next level, her creativity and energy propel her marketing and event design soaring to brilliant heights.
