8 Quick and Easy Tips for Radiant Skin

I’m sure everyone will love to have glowing skin. But, even if you’re eating right, getting enough sleep, and exercising regularly, breakouts can be sneaky. Your skin will be all fine during normal days and just before you have to attend a wedding or party, those annoying zits pop up. They can be incredibly frustrating as you have to deal with them right before such important occasions.

If you’re pressed for time and looking for a quick fix here are some of the ways through which you can supercharge your skin.

  1. Exfoliate

It’s important that you get rid of dead skin cells to treat your dull skin. When they pile up, they defuse the natural glow of the skin. So use exfoliators that have glycolic acid and salicylic acid as they are effective in sweeping away dead cells and cleaning clogged pores. Just make sure you don’t overdo it as it’ll irritate your skin and make it red. Once or twice a week is more than enough.

  1. Milk

Milk contains many vitamins that are good for the skin. Plus, the lactic acid and enzymes in it act as skin exfoliators and give you a smooth look. Apply a thin layer of milk on your face and massage with upward strokes. Do this until the milk is entirely absorbed by your skin. Then in the morning wash your face with a mild face wash.

  1. Refreshing your skin

Sometimes in our busy schedule, we won’t have time even to wash our face properly. At times like that if you want to get rid of the tired look of your skin you have to use an astringent to refresh your skin. So in a spray bottle mix one part alcohol to six parts of water and a few drops of essential oil. Close your eyes and lightly spray it on your face. You’ll feel revitalized, and it’ll show on your face.

A sleeping pack contains active ingredients which keep your skin moisturized and helps to clear your skin problems while you’re asleep.   Plus, they are lighter than most of the night creams and won’t mess up your pillowcase. Make sure you get organic sleeping packs as it’ll quickly brighten your skin without harming it.

Sometimes your entire focus will be on making your skin glow that you completely forget about your eyes. Staring at your computer or mobile screens constantly will make your eyes dull and may leave you with dark circles. More than blemishes and pimples tired eyes will decrease your overall beauty. So take 2 used green tea or herbal tea bags and place them in the refrigerator and let it chill. Then put them in your eyes, leave it for 15 minutes and then wash off. It is wonderful at reducing puffy eyes and will give your eyes an instant fresh look.

Almond oil is extensively used as a beauty aid as it is rich in Vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids, proteins, potassium, and zinc. Using almond oil as an overnight face mask will give you miraculous effects. Take half teaspoon of almond oil and mix few drops of jojoba oil with it. Gently massage your face for 3 minutes in circular motions which will boost blood circulation. Leave it overnight and wash your face in the shower and your face will become radiant.

To give your skin an instant glow, try ice packs that are made with rose water. Pour some rose water in an ice tray and let it freeze. Take one ice cube and gently massage your face and neck with it. Rose water has astringent properties and will brighten and soothe your skin. This is an effective remedy to treat dull skin. Also, you can rub ice on your face before applying makeup. It’ll help the makeup stay longer and spread evenly throughout the skin.

Steam will open your pores and remove the impurities that are deep inside the skin, prevents acne, tighten skin, improves blood circulation and make you refreshed. Blacked heads are formed due to clogged pores. Steaming will soften the pores and make it easier to pop them. Just boil some hot water and add mint leaves and rose petals to it. Remove the pot from the stove and place a blanket over your head and keep your face over the steam and make sure your face is not too close to the water. Also, steaming once a week is enough to keep your pores clean.

No matter what, getting glowing skin is always on our minds. We strive for it, and most of the decisions we make are hoping that we’ll achieve it.
